ETHIOPIA HARO WACHU (ESPRESSO)
Gentle acidity, smooth body and lingering finish. Intense floral notes reminiscence of Osmanthus, mellow peach sweetness and hints of clove / star anise like spices. We recommend pulling a longer ratio to stretch out the complexity of the espresso! E.g 18g in : 45g out

About coffee
For this particular coffee, 20 smallholder individual farmers have contributed to the lot; typically, growing coffee in conjunction with raising livestock. Producers in this region face challenges, with a lack of clean water and poor soil conservation. To ameliorate these threats, producers are beginning to work together and educate each other on different methods to conserve water and promote soil health.
About Guji
Guji is part of the Oromia region in southern Ethiopia, next to Gedeo Zone (SNNPR), where the famous Yirgacheffe micro-
region is located. This steep, green area is both fertile and high, with much of the coffee growing at 2,000m plus. Coffee grown in the Guji zone was once classified under Sidamo. Recently, Guji has become its own recognised area in coffee, thanks to their unique cup profile and physical attributes.
