What would you like to see in 2020?

We've got a number of ideas for improving Compound Coffee this year. But first, we'd like to find out what you think and would like to see happen in 2020. What are your priorities and goals this year? Let us know in the comments.

For those of you who have been following Compound Coffee for awhile, you will know that we enjoy researching different practices in coffee. We run experiments and test different hypotheses to back up our processes and implementations with hard data.

Some of these research data are summarized and published for free while others are compiled into our coffee classes. This year, we have a number of ideas on how to expand our work. But before that, we'd like to hear your thoughts too.

What are your goals and priorities in 2020? Is there anything you'd like to see happen with Compound Coffee or the coffee industry this year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section!

Your knowledge comes first

“Proper preparation is the key to our success. Our acts can be no wiser than our thoughts. Our thinking can be no wiser than our understanding.”

― George S. Clason, The Richest Man in Babylon

We believe that investing in your own skills and knowledge is necessary to achieve the goals that you've set for yourself. With that said, our aim is to empower you with those skills and knowledge. To do that, here are some of the ideas we've come up with based on your suggestions:

a) Live roasting classes (private/group)
b) More roasting masterclasses
c) More research and experiment content
d) More awesome coffees
e) Barista/Brewing classes
f) A roasting podcast with Singapore Roaster Forum?

Which would you want to see the most this year?
